Image of Wat Phra Dhammakay that I know.
The cleanliness and the tidiness are the first things that I am impressed.
The temple is wide but everything inside is simple and neat which harmonize well with the way of meditation.
I never find anything "luxury" there.
The neatness and cleanliness was firstly taught to us by Khun Yay Ajarn who is a nun teaching meditation to Luangpor Dhammachayo; the abbot, since Luangpor was a student in high school.
It is sad that there are so many Buddhists in Thailand that still drink beer and whisky and break the 5 precepts.
It means that Buddhists here in Thailand do not bring the Buddha's teachings into practice.
However, Wat Phra Dhammakaya teaches me and other people to bring Buddha's teachings into actual practice.
